Welfare unit servicing
Welfare units are self-contained facilities, powered by a generator, usually providing a flushable or chemical toilet, canteen and office space for construction sites.
From the busy city-centre building site to facilities within hard to reach rural areas, we have been removing waste and supplying essential water to these units for many years. Our customers range in size and needs, from local authorities, welfare unit hire companies to single-site builders, although, for each, we deliver a high level of service at all times.
We provide a planned and managed service to our regular customers, looking at logistics and best dates and times for servicing. Having the largest fleet of vehicles in our sector means we can also react to emergency service requests within a very short time. With all our fleet fitted with GPS and messaging system, it allows our team to gain vehicle locations and ETA for our customers very quickly.
Waste Water Services ensure ease of information for our clients, whether this is the servicing history of a particular unit or site including signed Waste Transfer Notes for each service. We also offer a fuel management service for the supply of fuel to the generator ensuring power to the welfare unit at all times.
We can also provide a reactive service for new customers ensuring no downtime of facilities that may affect your business operations.
All water delivered is extracted from the Scottish Water Network under licence and is delivered under strict Health & Safety Guidelines
All waste collected from the welfare units is taken back to our primary treatment centre and screened to remove any solids, grit and greasy floating matter. We then discharge via a metered auto sampling unit into the public sewer system, which flows to a local sewage treatment plant as per our Scottish Water Trade Effluent consent.
